The Main Gallery also hosts a selection of annual group exhibits, including:

  • The Big: ACE Annual Non-Juried Exhibit

  • Eastern Oregon University’s Junior Practicum Exhibit

  • Annual Fiber Arts & Jewelry Exhibit

Art Center East Galleries are open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm & Sat 12-4pm. All exhibits are free and open to the public.

What to Enter

Art Center East (ACE) invites you to enter your artwork to become a Featured Artist.  Artists exhibiting nationally or internationally who are 18+ years old can submit an application for consideration. Artists may submit works in any artistic medium. Please note that ACE will not accept pieces that are older than three years. Have questions about whether your artwork is a good fit for Art Center East? Contact Darcy Dolge: darcy@artcentereast.org (541)624-2800.

Selection Process

Featured Artist exhibitions are determined by a Gallery Committee, comprised of artists working in a variety of mediums, art educators, and collectors, in conjunction with the Art Director. Submissions are reviewed from digital images of art and referenced by an accompanying inventory list submitted on this form. Submissions are also evaluated on the exhibition description and artist’s statement. The resume helps the committee understand the level of artistic development and commitment of the submitting artist/group. Applications which are incomplete will not be considered. It is expected the work submitted for the exhibition be of the same quality, medium, and style as work submitted in the proposal. Artists who are accepted for a Featured Artist exhibition will have a 2-year interval before their proposals are considered again. Artists are strongly encouraged to keep pricing consistent with websites and other sale sites.

Note: If you are accepted as a Featured Artist with Art Center East you will be required to purchase an Artist Membership. Please visit this page for benefit details.

About the ACE Co-op Gallery

The Art Center East Co-op Gallery features the work of non-juried community artists. As our “DIY” gallery, the Co-op Gallery gives local & regional artists the opportunity plan, hang, publicize their own show, host an opening reception, and sell their artwork. ACE is proud to offer this opportunity to any artist or group of artists 15-years of age or older, expanding our exhibit space and opening up exhibiting opportunities to a broader range of experience levels.

Artwork displayed in the Co-op Gallery show for 2 months and must be wall-mounted, as the floor space is used for movement classes. Past exhibits have included works by local painters, illustrators, and photographers, as well as installation works and group exhibits created for community-focused events and fundraisers.
