We are currently planning for our annual Galleries Fundraiser and invite our community to join us this year as we collaborate with the Wallowa Avalanche Center in raising funds for avalanche prevention and the Art Center East Galleries.

Upon his death in 2020, Craig Canoy left his art collection to ACE for the purposes of fundraising. Many of the pieces in the collection are his own work. ACE would like to continue to pay tribute to Canoy’s legacy as both a local visual artist and avid outdoorsman.

Many of these pieces are themed around winter outdoor activities, atmospheres, and landscapes in our region. Below are eleven pieces from this collection with a worth of over $3,000. This fundraiser will be a raffle and tickets will be available from November 15 through December 10, 2022. Tickets will sell at $20 for 1 ticket or $100 for 6 tickets. Eleven winners will be drawn on December 10, 2022, during one of our December Sip and Shop Saturdays. The first ticket drawn will get the first choice of any of the available artworks. Each subsequent ticket will have the next choice.

Registration cancellations & transfers must be made through Art Center East at (541) 624-2800 48 hours or more before the class start time. We cannot issue refunds or transfers for cancellations received after the 48-hour cutoff. Exceptions will be considered for medical or family emergencies. ACE will honor a refund, minus a $10 administration fee when the cancellation is made 48 hours or more before class start date. When a class is canceled due to low enrollment, we will issue a refund for all registration fees. ACE will contact you in the event of a cancellation. Face coverings will be required in accordance with statewide regulations current at the time.
