Bad Poetry (Age 18+)

December 10 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

December 1, 3, 8, & 10 from 6:00 – 7:30 pm

Poetry: what are the rules, what is the structure, how do you know if your poetry is good or not? Join Teaching Artist Bill for this four-session exploration of “bad” poetry! In these four sessions, there are no rules about spelling, punctuation, grammar, spacing, number or structure of verses, or anything else. You’re free to write however you want. You’ll learn that you have permission to write whatever, whenever, and wherever you want, writing for any reason or no reason at all. Participants in “Bad Poetry” are free to share their poems with the group if they choose to. Please bring a pen and paper or whatever writing tools you prefer. Please enter through the 5th Street door.

You can register for this class here: https://artcentereast.org/calendar/bad-poetry-age-18/
