Beginner Campfire Guitar I (Age 18+)

January 4, 11, 18, & 25 and February 1 & 8 from 6:00 – 7:00 pm

Learn the basics of playing guitar and discover how enjoyable it is to play as part of a supportive group! You will learn guitar tuning, basic chords, strumming patterns, keeping time, and a few easy songs. This class requires no experience, just a desire to learn and the time and determination to practice daily for 20-30 minutes. Students will take away an organized approach to practice and the ability to play some fun, easy songs in various keys. Making music is good for the soul! Teaching Artist: John Thurber

John Thurber has been playing guitar as a hobby for 18 years. He started playing at age 48 and had the great benefit of a group class similar to the popular ones he is teaching at ACE. John has decades of experience as a teacher in other fields.
