Beginning & Intermediate Stained Glass
September 7 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am
An event every week that begins at 9:00 am on Saturday, repeating until October 26, 2019
Learn the exciting art of stained glass by crafting your very own piece from start to finish. In this 8-week class, you’ll start with the basics of glass cutting and end with a finished 14” x 18” piece. You may bring your own stained glass pattern or use one provided in class (design limited to total 75 pieces). Students will learn how to design patterns, select glass, and construct a flat piece using the copper foil method. This class is appropriate for the stained-glass newbie or someone with experience who’d like to learn more.
Finishing a stained glass project takes time and expensive equipment – in addition to the scheduled class dates, the glass studio will be available for eight open studio dates that will be scheduled with participants after the first class to allow you sufficient time to complete your project. No experience necessary, all supplies included. Bring home a beautiful window decoration made by you! Please enter through the 5th Street door.
Dates: September 7, 14, 21, 28 & October 5, 12, 19, 26 from 9:00 – 11:00am
Cost: $160 Member / $190 Non-member
