Building Community Through Song
April 29 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm$10 – $15
Music offers us healing, connection, and peace in our world. When experienced as a community, it can rise above just about anything and bond us in a way that nothing else can. Join voice teacher Jamie Jacobson and guest artist Erin Guinup, conductor of the Tacoma Refugee Choir, for an evening of exploring songs from many different cultures that speak of power, love, acceptance, and JOY. All are welcome. You do not need ANY music or singing experience, ability, or talent. We will learn these songs together by rote (without any sheet music) and will explore harmonies by ear. Please enter through the Penn Avenue door.
