SOLD OUT
July 6, 13, 20, & 27 from 10:00 – 11:00 am
Guided by our imaginations, we will explore how our bodies move through space to tell stories and create characters on stage. Kids will engage their voices and bodies as they make sounds, speak, jump, imagine, pretend, and act. There are no lines to memorize. The instructor bases activities on Viola Spolin’s creative drama techniques. Students need to wear comfortable, but not baggy, clothing they can move in (such as sweatpants, tennis shoes or split sole jazz shoes, and a t-shirt). No skirts or dresses unless leggings are worn underneath. No sandals.
