What better way to begin a new day than by taking some time to focus on the one and only YOU? Morning yoga presents us with the opportunity to check in with our mind/body experience. This is an all-levels class with a focus on connecting breath and movement. Elijah teaches through a traditional vinyasa flow, offering options to accommodate a wide variety of skill and experience levels. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or someone completely new to yoga asana, Elijah will lead you toward your goals. We all have the ability to learn and grow together! Quieting our minds and learning to listen to our bodies is part of the collective healing many of us are searching for. Elijah hopes to guide you toward your own self healing through the practice of yoga asana.
Teaching Artist: Elijah Romer
Elijah Romer was born and raised in Northeast Oregon. He graduated from Eastern Oregon University with a BS in Sociology and a minor in Spanish. His first introduction to yoga was in Portland, Oregon, where he found teachers who helped him integrate an asana (physical movement) practice to help maintain his body for endurance athletics competitions. He has now been practicing yoga asana for 15 years. A recent graduate of a 300-hour YTT (yoga teacher training) in India, Elijah feels excited and blessed to have the opportunity to teach the art of yoga. The immersive teaching program in India gave Elijah the knowledge and confidence to help others on their yoga journey. He loves sharing his love for a practice that has positively transformed his life.
