An Online Co-Op Gallery Exhibition by Art Center East Embrace the Unknown Theresa Henderson Free
Embrace the Unknown features artwork in the fluid acrylic medium, the hallmark of which is mesmerizing swirls of color and texture. Henderson’s show is ACE’s first online exhibit. It includes images of the paintings and an audio artist interview.
In order to inspire future artists, Henderson is donating 50% of all sales from the exhibit to the ACE Youth Scholarship Fund.
Artist Bio: I am an artist specializing in acrylic pours. I am a La Grande native and have been exploring the medium of fluid art for 15 years. I currently teach classes in acrylic pouring at Art Center East, where I once served as a board member. I’ve participated in four successful shows, and have an upcoming show at the La Grande Public Library in August. I’ve donated my art to various organizations and local businesses.
Artist Statement:My fluid art deals with the fours Cs: color, composition, contrast and creativity. My work has been influenced by the colorful places I’ve experienced in my travels. Fluid art is my gateway to creativity, experimentation and the soul.
