Fused Glass Casting: Hearts (Age 18+)

Create two beautiful fused glass hearts that can be made into pendants or magnets. (Pick up your hearts on Wednesday the 14th between 12:00 – 5:00 pm and you’ll be in time for Valentine’s Day!) This class is a great introduction to the fascinating art of glass fusion. All skill levels are welcome. You’ll learn the elements of fused glass design and use molds to create two unique hearts that you’ll pick up after they’ve been fired in ACE’s glass kiln. All supplies included. Please enter through the 5th Street door.
Teaching Artist: Darcy Dolge
Darcy Dolge serves as Executive Director at Art Center East and creates mixed media artworks in La Grande, Oregon. She owns Blackberry Moon Creations and Wellness Services; the services include sound healing and crystal therapy. Darcy also handcrafts drums (a ceremonial process that integrates her Scandinavian heritage) and creates mindfulness items, including framed hand-wired crystal grids, fused glass jewelry, and apothecary items.

Registration cancellations & transfers must be made through Art Center East at (541) 624-2800 48 hours or more before the class start time. We cannot issue refunds or transfers for cancellations received after the 48-hour cutoff. Exceptions will be considered for medical or family emergencies. ACE will honor a refund, minus a $10 administration fee when the cancellation is made 48 hours or more before class start date. When a class is canceled due to low enrollment, we will issue a refund for all registration fees. ACE will contact you in the event of a cancellation. Face coverings will be required in accordance with statewide regulations current at the time.
