Holiday Stained Glass Ornaments (Age 18+)

December 19 from 1:00 – 5:00 pm

Create two beautiful stained glass holiday ornaments! This class is a fun introduction to the fascinating art of stained glass. No experience is necessary and all skill levels are welcome. You’ll learn the elements of stained glass design and use templates of ornaments, pickles or snowflakes to create two unique ornaments that you’ll take home at the end of class. All supplies included. Please enter through the 5th Street door.

Teaching Artist: Ginger Moore

Ginger Moore is a retired preschool teacher who recently moved to La Grande. She has been practicing stained glass for nine years. Her favorite aspect about working with glass is seeking out intriguing colors, reimagining new designs, and placing the cut pieces together like a puzzle. Ginger says, “Stained glass is like a cross between putting together puzzles and coloring in coloring books.” Ginger enjoys gardening, crafting, and sewing as other pastimes.
