Homeschool Art II (Ages 12-15) FREE

April 12 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

FREE

Teaching Artist Jennifer will help students continue building their art vocabulary using different art techniques and more challenging projects. Students will exercise their drawing skills, applying them to a number of different media including watercolor, printing, and weaving. Students will learn to incorporate ideas such as symmetry, color theory, and pattern into fun projects that they help design and create. Students’ unique projects are based on each week’s particular technique or artistic medium. Learning these techniques helps build a vocabulary students can use in other works they create, hopefully inspiring them to do more. Parents or guardians are welcome, but not required, to stay with their child for the duration of the class. All supplies included.

Teaching Artist: Jennifer McBride

Jennifer McBride has a B.A. in Art and her work is primarily composed of silk-screened or wood-block prints depicting elements of nature. She is a home-school mom and enjoys cooking and baking for her family, reading, and spending time in her garden. Jennifer especially enjoys teaching baking to her nieces and son.

Cost: Free
