Intro to Paper-Making (Age 12+)

Join this class to create paper for stationery, journaling, and more! You’ll learn the basics of handmade paper-crafting and how to incorporate colors, dried flowers, leaves, etc. Create a beautiful gift for a friend or for yourself, incorporating nature into your paper-making. You’ll leave class with beautiful sheets of paper and the knowledge that will allow you to continue the handmade paper craft at home. All supplies included. Please enter through the 5th Street door.

Teaching Artist: River Winn

River Winn is a published poet, journaling queen, and artist living in La Grande, Oregon. She is an EOU alumna with many years of creative explorations and experiences. Her artistic pursuits include writing, photography, paper-crafting, collage, and working with fiber.

Cost: $55 Member / $ 66 Non-Member

Registration cancellations & transfers must be made through Art Center East at (541) 624-2800 48 hours or more before the class start time. We cannot issue refunds or transfers for cancellations received after the 48-hour cutoff. Exceptions will be considered for medical or family emergencies. ACE will honor a refund, minus a $10 administration fee when the cancellation is made 48 hours or more before class start date. When a class is canceled due to low enrollment, we will issue a refund for all registration fees. ACE will contact you in the event of a cancellation. Face coverings will be required in accordance with statewide regulations current at the time.
