Teaching Artist Danae will teach you what makes the practice of Tai Chi both challenging and rewarding. No experience necessary! Danae says that Tai Chi is accessible to all, with benefits that can include “increased focus, flexibility, balance, and circulation”. Note: additional classes (priced separately) that build on the June 14 and 21 class meetings will be offered at a later date.

Teaching Artist: Danae Yurgel
Danae Yurgel has been practicing Tai Chi for decades. She trained under several different teachers over the years and received permission to teach from her instructor more than 15 years ago. Danae has also spent years training in the Japanese martial art of Aikido.
Cost: $65 Member / $70 Non-Member

Registration cancellations & transfers must be made through Art Center East at (541) 624-2800 48 hours or more before the class start time. We cannot issue refunds or transfers for cancellations received after the 48-hour cutoff. Exceptions will be considered for medical or family emergencies. ACE will honor a refund, minus a $10 administration fee when the cancellation is made 48 hours or more before class start date. When a class is canceled due to low enrollment, we will issue a refund for all registration fees. ACE will contact you in the event of a cancellation. Face coverings will be required in accordance with statewide regulations current at the time.
