Let Loose: Draw and Drink (Age 21+)

Join Teaching Artist Megan for some drawing exercises: let loose and have fun with art at Side A Brewing! No drawing experience necessary. Using pen, ink, and markers, and with Megan as your guide, you’ll do both solo and collaborative exercises. Enjoy a beer or cider while you draw; the cost of the class includes a $7.00 beverage voucher! At the end of this fun evening, you’ll take home a series of drawings you can use to spark your creativity or as creative warm-ups for other works of art. All supplies included.

Megan McGuinness is a contemporary acrylic painter and illustrator who loves working with bright colors and deep contrasts. Megan was born and raised in Portland, Oregon, but she has spent most of her adult life in Bend and Eastern Oregon. An archaeologist by day, Megan enjoys exploring new landscapes and learning about the larger world we live in. In her spare time, she loves cross-country skiing and hiking with her dog, Howdy.

Registration cancellations & transfers must be made through Art Center East at (541) 624-2800 48 hours or more before the class start time. We cannot issue refunds or transfers for cancellations received after the 48-hour cutoff. Exceptions will be considered for medical or family emergencies. ACE will honor a refund, minus a $10 administration fee when the cancellation is made 48 hours or more before class start date. When a class is canceled due to low enrollment, we will issue a refund for all registration fees. ACE will contact you in the event of a cancellation. Face coverings will be required in accordance with statewide regulations current at the time.
