Moon Calendars (Age 21+)

A moon calendar is a work of art and a record of a specific time in your life. You’ll learn to make a 31-day moon phase template, discussing possible uses of the calendar, and receive a watercolor painting demonstration. Most of class time will be spent creating your very own custom moon calendar. Moon calendars are a great way to set intentions and record information such as daily gratitudes, meaningful activities, reminders to go outside and look for the moon more often, etc. All supplies included.
Teaching Artist: Rebecca Curry
Rebecca Curry is an artist and has a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. During her eight years in the mental health field, her main focus was group work, specifically using art and other activities to increase healthy coping. Art-making has been an essential part of her own grief and recovery work.

Registration cancellations & transfers must be made through Art Center East at (541) 624-2800 48 hours or more before the class start time. We cannot issue refunds or transfers for cancellations received after the 48-hour cutoff. Exceptions will be considered for medical or family emergencies. ACE will honor a refund, minus a $10 administration fee when the cancellation is made 48 hours or more before class start date. When a class is canceled due to low enrollment, we will issue a refund for all registration fees. ACE will contact you in the event of a cancellation. Face coverings will be required in accordance with statewide regulations current at the time.
