Needle Felting: Mushroom and Gnome Ornaments (Age 18+)
October 19 from 12:30 – 3:30 pm
Join this needle felting class for beginners and create some adorable mushroom and gnome ornaments! What’s needle felting, you ask? It’s a fun creative process that involves sculpting wool with needles. Teaching Artist Christie will guide you through the fundamentals step-by-step – you’ll be working with wool, needles, and corks – and, at the end of class, you’ll take home six charming ornaments and some fun new skills! All supplies included. Please enter through the 5th Street door.
Teaching Artist: Christie Lower
Christie Lower is a life-long fiber artist living in Halfway, Oregon, where she creates one-of-a-kind pieces of art in needle felted wool. For more than eight years, Christie has created and shown her art in galleries throughout the Pacific Northwest. She teaches beginning through advanced needle felting classes in person and online, and she enjoys sharing her love of fiber arts through teaching with anyone interested in learning about them.

Registration cancellations & transfers must be made through Art Center East at (541) 624-2800 48 hours or more before the class start time. We cannot issue refunds or transfers for cancellations received after the 48-hour cutoff. Exceptions will be considered for medical or family emergencies. ACE will honor a refund, minus a $10 administration fee when the cancellation is made 48 hours or more before class start date. When a class is canceled due to low enrollment, we will issue a refund for all registration fees. ACE will contact you in the event of a cancellation. Face coverings will be required in accordance with statewide regulations current at the time.
