If you can knock on a door, butter a piece of bread, or make an “X”, you’re well on your way to mastering one of the greatest painting techniques in the world! Teaching Artist Aaron will show you how to create beautiful landscapes and seascapes using oil paints, stretched and primed canvas, and a unique set of brushes. No painting experience necessary! Students will learn skills such as color mixing on a palette, color mixing and blending on canvas, and an array of additional techniques that will bring out your inner artist. Aaron will discuss how he got started in this medium and will teach the tools and techniques necessary to paint the sky, clouds, mountains, trees, water, snow, and maybe even a cabin!
