Watercolor Workshop: Spring Meadow
May 9 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm$60 – $70
In this step-by-step painting class, we will create a spring scene of sheep in a meadow. We will target techniques to paint the wool-y sheep, spring trees, and glazing. Students of all experience levels are welcome. See required supply list below. Please enter through the 5th Street door.

Artist Bio: I have been teaching and painting in watercolors for many years. I love sharing all I have learned with my students. This class will be taught in a step-by-step method so that anyone can join in.
SPRING MEADOW – Required Supplies:
WATERCOLORS – Winsor & Newton brand – Winsor Blue (red shade), Neutral Tint. Grumbacher brand – Burnt Sienna, Burnt Umber, Viridian Green, Gamboge Hue.
BRUSHES – Funny Brush (green Handle). No. 8 round. No.14 or 16 round. No.1 Long liner. 1” stiff bristle oil brush.
MISC. – ¼ Sheet (11 X 15) cold press Arches Cold Press watercolor paper, support board, any masking & No.8 old brush, bar of soap, X-acto knife, masking tape, General’s white charcoal pencil, palette, paper towels, old hand towel, water container, homemade transfer paper, masking tape, scissors, scraps for practice, red pen for tracing, spray bottle, pencil & white eraser.
NOTE – We will break for lunch from noon to 1:00. You may bring your lunch or go out to eat. Please arrive in the classroom 15 minutes early to set up your work station. Be sure and dress in layers.

Registration cancellations & transfers must be made through Art Center East at (541) 624-2800 48 hours or more before the class start time. We cannot issue refunds or transfers for cancellations received after the 48-hour cutoff. Exceptions will be considered for medical or family emergencies. ACE will honor a refund, minus a $10 administration fee when the cancellation is made 48 hours or more before class start date. When a class is canceled due to low enrollment, we will issue a refund for all registration fees. ACE will contact you in the event of a cancellation.
