March 8, 15, & 22 from 10:00 – 11:30 am
Teaching Artist Jennifer will help students build their art vocabulary through a fun exploration of a different art technique each week. Using pencil, paper, and watercolor, students will create original works based on the day’s technique, learning concepts such as symmetry, basic color theory, pattern, and more. Students leave each class with a unique project. This class is a continuation from Winter Quarter, but new students are always welcome! Parents or guardians are welcome, but not required, to stay with their child for the duration of the class. All supplies included.
Teaching Artist: Jennifer McBride
Jennifer McBride has a B.A. in Art and her work is primarily composed of silk-screened or wood-block prints depicting elements of nature. She is a home-school mom, and enjoys cooking and baking for her family, reading and spending time in her garden. Jennifer especially enjoys teaching baking to her nieces and son.
