Creative Drama (Ages 3- 5) FREE!
February 23 from 11:05 – 11:50 am
Give your little one the chance to explore imagination and storytelling through Creative Drama! Using playful techniques inspired by the work of educator Viola Spolin, this lively class helps preschoolers engage their voices and bodies as they wiggle, jump, crawl, make sounds, pretend, and act. Through activities guided by Teaching Artist Rikki Jo (who creates a fun and supportive environment), students will discover how movement and voice can bring stories to life—no memorization required. Creative Drama nurtures creativity, self-expression, and confidence while building important early skills like body awareness, cooperation, and listening! By the end of the series, little ones will have a strong sense of how their bodies and voices can be used to share ideas and play characters. All supplies included. Note: a parent or guardian must stay with their child for the duration of the class.
