Flower Garden: Acrylic Painting Techniques (Age 18+)

How many ways are there to paint a flower? Many! You’ll learn several different ways to paint a semi-realistic flower using a variety of acrylic painting techniques. Teaching Artist Hannah will provide images of different flowers and will guide you with step-by-step instructions for each one. At the end of the workshop, you’ll take home your finished still life that includes 3-5 painted flowers in a vase or background of your choice. All supplies included. Please enter through the 5th Street door.

Hannah Flower

Hannah Flower is a surreal mixed media and portrait artist living in La Grande, Oregon. She has a BS in Art from Eastern Oregon University and eight years experience as an artists’ assistant in Pittsburgh. In her own practice, Hannah works mainly in graphite, acrylics, and oils, but she occasionally uses found objects or sculpted elements to invite people to interact with her art. She has shown at art festivals across the country and continues to share her work at festivals, in galleries, and on murals wherever her travels take her.
