Homeschool Art II (Ages 12-16) FREE!

February 6 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm

 

Teaching Artist Jennifer guides students ages 12-16 through a fun exploration of a different art technique each week! Using mainly pencil, paper, and watercolor paints, students will build their art vocabularies by creating original artwork based on the day’s technique. Jennifer will teach concepts such as symmetry, basic color theory, pattern, and more. All supplies included.

Location: Union Carnegie Library, 182 North Main Street in Union

Parents/guardians of youth age 17 or younger: if you haven’t already done so, CLICK HERE to fill out a Youth Release Form in order for your child to participate in ACE classes.

There are limited spots available for this class! If you reserve a ticket and later find you’re unable to attend, please email the ACE Youth Coordinator at [email protected] to cancel your reservation. This helps ACE open up spots for other interested students. Thank you!

Teaching Artist

Jennifer McBride

Jennifer McBride has a BA in Art, and her work is primarily composed of silk-screened or wood block prints depicting elements of nature. She has a broad range of interests extending to fiber arts, including embroidery and weaving. Jennifer is a home-school mom and enjoys cooking and baking for her family, reading, and spending time in her garden.
