Mental Theatre: Meaning and Movement (Age 18+)

Join Teaching Artist Felicia for an hour of fun, restorative theatrical play! Explore your creativity, mental agility, and personal expression through improv and theatre games. No theatre or improv experience necessary. Activities may include interactive icebreakers and warmups, playing with sound and movement, creating scenes, and improv exercises (e.g., mirroring, sculpting, etc.). Experiencing the freedom to express ourselves through theatrical play is a fun way to bring thinking and acting creatively into our daily lives!

Felicia Ridings has a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling and a bachelor's degree in theatre. She has a passion for therapeutic theatrical play. Felicia has been involved in all aspects of theatre production, and has taught improv and acting classes. In addition, she is trained and experienced in facilitating groups and managing group dynamics.
