Jessie says, “I’m always, always observing. I am recording everything I see all day long–beams of light, intricate textures, plants and animals–and I respond to it in a sort of youth-like innocence and wonder. That is something that is echoed in my practice; I learn new methods and break tradition from the craft, experimenting with doing it my own way, as opposed to what I’m told is the correct way. Everything I do is about experiencing something new and diving into my curiosity.”
