COVID Safety Policies
Community Ensembles
Welcome back to Art Center East!
We are open with new visitor policies in place in order meet State and County COVID-19 safety requirements and keep you safe. Our ability to keep the building open for classes and gallery visits relies on your willingness to comply with the following:

Anyone entering the building is required to wear a mask that covers both nose and mouth for the entirety of their visit.

Gallery capacity is limited to 70 people, with no more than 4 visitors allowed in the Gift Gallery at once.

Class sizes are limited to 18 students in the main studio, 4 students in the glass studio, and 7 students in the clay studio.

All work stations are spaced a minimum of 6 feet apart and/or separated by a divider.

Staff will disinfect door handles and commonly shared surfaces throughout open hours.

Bathrooms will be disinfected twice daily.
All visitors are required to:

Wear a mask that covers both nose and mouth at all times (age 3 and older).

Utilize provided hand sanitizer before handling items in the Gift Gallery.

Maintain a 6 foot distance from staff and other visitors at all times.

Visit the gallery in groups of 10 or fewer.

Stay home if you are feeling sick or know you have come in contact with someone who has tested positive or currently has COVID-19 symptoms.

Be aware that ACE will have to adjust our safety policies and procedures as County and State guidance requires. Please consult our current requirements before each visit.
Students are expected to:

Wash hands for at least 20 seconds upon arrival, and again any time you touch your mouth, nose, or eyes.

Sign form acknowledging being free from COVID-19 symptoms each class meeting.

Bring your own apron and tools, as necessary.

Limit other personal belongings that you bring into the space.

At the end of class, clean and disinfect your work station and any communal tools used.

Follow additional posted requirements specific to the glass and ceramics studios.

ACE is following government guidelines on COVID-19 safety and cleaning procedures, but students are expected to research, assess, and understand their own risk level before choosing to work in an indoor space.
