The Art Center East Main Gallery is the only international fine art exhibit space in Union County. It is a community supported gallery, funded by Art Center East memberships and private donors. Exhibiting artists of all mediums are juried by the Gallery Committee in order to show their work in the Main Gallery. Exhibits typically run for 2 months.
The Main Gallery also hosts a selection of annual group exhibits, including:
- The Big: ACE Annual Non-Juried Exhibit
- Eastern Oregon University’s Junior Practicum Exhibit
- Annual Fiber Arts & Jewelry Exhibit
Art Center East Galleries are open during the pandemic; Mon-Fri Noon - 4pm & Sat 10am-2pm. All exhibits are free and open to the public.

Exhibit: ACE Benefit Exhibit
Dates: August 7 – October 24, 2020
About: The ACE Benefit Exhibit features work generously donated by local artists. It celebrates the scope and talent of our regional arts scene, and will raise funds for the development of Art Center East digital programming. During the months of August and September, Art Center East staff will begin rebuilding our community arts programming almost from scratch. With the ACE Benefit Exhibit, we are seeking to raise additional funding to support the organization while we get back on our feet. Spin the Wheel on our exhibit page and save up to 60% on exhibition artwork!

Exhibit: Día de los Muertos Exhibit
Dates: October 28 - November 9, 2020
About: Día de los Muertos returns to Art Center East! Like everything this year, however, we've had to make a few changes. Most of our celebration will take place online or at home, with the exception of our Community Ofrenda. The Community Ofrenda will be open to the public starting on October 28 - you are welcome to place a photo or memento of a lost loved one on it (plan to pick up your item(s) on November 9 or 10). Papers will be available for writing a message, or you may bring your own. See the ofrenda with all of its candles lit on Friday, October 30 from 4 - 6 pm.
The Art Center East Co-op Gallery features the work of non-juried community artists. As our “DIY” gallery, the Co-op Gallery gives local & regional artists the opportunity plan, hang, publicize their own show, host an opening reception, and sell their artwork. ACE is proud to offer this opportunity to any artist or group of artists 15-years of age or older, expanding our exhibit space and opening up exhibiting opportunities to a broader range of experience levels.
Artwork displayed in the Co-op Gallery show for 2 months and must be wall-mounted, as the floor space is used for movement classes. Past exhibits have included works by local painters, illustrators, and photographers, as well as installation works and group exhibits created for community-focused events and fundraisers.
Art Center East Galleries are open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm & Sat 12-4pm. All exhibits are free and open to the public.
