George Maginnis
Board Member since February 7, 2023

A photography class in junior high was the catalyst that launched George's career in photography. He wore many hats over the years, including photo assistant, photographer, set builder, studio manager, and animal wrangler, to name a few. He later took a sales position that allowed George to share his real-world knowledge and experience with others and to communicate clearly with people at all skill levels. As a technical editor for Wiley & Sons publishing, George helped authors explain various photographic concepts and became an advocate for the reader of the many books he edited. George worked as a color management and photographic workflow consultant and has extensive experience with large-format fine art inkjet printing.

As a recent transplant to La Grande, George joined the ACE Board of Directors to support the arts and get to know his new community.

Jeanne Williamson
Board Member since May 24, 2023

At an early age, Jeanne discovered that art, when taken seriously, has the ability to improve people’s quality of life. Art can make the difference between getting through a dull day, or living in an exciting world where you feel free do something wonderful.

After many successful years of running her own graphic design business, Jeanne founded Evermine Labels in 2000. Today Evermine Labels serves companies and individuals all over the world. She continues today to direct the creative design work at Evermine, in addition to supervising the restoration of the 1914 former Elks Lodge of La Grande.

Jeanne joined the ACE Board to help preserve and encourage the important part that ACE plays in the community, which is to provide increased access to art’s benefits to all community members.
