Art for the Community (Age 12-15)

September 20 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

SOLD OUT

September 20 from 5:30 – 7:30 pm

Let’s use craft to engage the wider community through art! The class begins with guided group brainstorming to come up with a message. Each student then creates a number of letters in the message, crafting bunting by using painter’s tape, acrylic paint, and watercolors. The class project – fun and positive – stays with the instructor who will display it in a designated community space. Students explore collaboration, shared sense of purpose, communicating their values to each other, and thinking beyond themselves to create something they believe will help others in our community. All supplies included. Please enter through the 5th Street door.
