Add to your basic guitar skills by taking this fun group class! As a participant in this group you should already have some ease with forming and changing a few basic chords, and be able to play at least two songs through completely. In Campfire Guitar II, students learn elementary chord structure theory, fingerpicking patterns, additional chord vocabulary, and new songs. You will leave this enjoyable class with some new songs to play, an organized practice method to carry forward, and new calluses. Supply list located at artcentereast.org/calendar. Teaching Artist: John Thurber
John Thurber has been playing guitar as a hobby for 18 years. He started playing at age 48 and had the great benefit of a group class similar to the popular ones he is teaching at ACE. John has decades of experience as a teacher in other fields.
Cost: $60 Member / $72 Non-Member

Registration cancellations & transfers must be made through Art Center East at (541) 624-2800 48 hours or more before the class start time. We cannot issue refunds or transfers for cancellations received after the 48-hour cutoff. Exceptions will be considered for medical or family emergencies. ACE will honor a refund, minus a $10 administration fee when the cancellation is made 48 hours or more before class start date. When a class is canceled due to low enrollment, we will issue a refund for all registration fees. ACE will contact you in the event of a cancellation. Face coverings will be required in accordance with statewide regulations current at the time.
