Campfire Guitar: Beginning and Intermediate Guitar for Adults

If you are interested in learning to play guitar, this class is for you! Learn basic accompaniment techniques, chord shapes and changes, elementary music theory, and new songs to play. This class is open to beginner and intermediate guitar players; no experience is necessary. Students will be provided with a singing mask, included in the cost of the class. See below for a supply list. Please enter through the Penn Avenue door.

Dates: Mondays, January 10, 17, 24, 31;
February 7, 14 from 6:00 – 7:00 pm
Cost: $70 Member / $85 Non-Member

Artist Bio: I have been playing guitar as a hobby for 18 years. I started at the age of 48 and had the great benefit of a group class similar to the one offered here. Beyond that, I have decades of experience as a teacher in other fields.

Registration cancellations & transfers must be made through Art Center East at (541) 624-2800 48 hours or more before the class start time. We cannot issue refunds or transfers for cancellations received after the 48-hour cutoff. Exceptions will be considered for medical or family emergencies. ACE will honor a refund, minus a $10 administration fee when the cancellation is made 48 hours or more before class start date. When a class is canceled due to low enrollment, we will issue a refund for all registration fees. ACE will contact you in the event of a cancellation. Face coverings will be required in accordance with statewide regulations current at the time.
