Watercolor Workshop: The Zebra

Join Jan to paint a fun, colorful, and sunlit zebra. Learn two new blending techniques and bring your zebra to life with glazing while applying opposing textures. Beginning and experienced painters welcome. Be prepared for a 1-hour lunch break on September 25 from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm. See the required supply list below. Please enter through the 5th Street door.

Artist Bio: Watercolor painting has become a way to express myself by manipulating the paint and water in many ways. I love the way it flows. I have been teaching and painting in watercolor since the 1980s.

- Winsor Newton Watercolors – Neutral Tint, Purple Lake, Winsor Blue
- Grumbacher Watercolors – Yellow Ochre, Burnt Sienna, Violet Thalo Purple, Cadmium Orange
- Derwent Watercolor Pencils – Light Violet No. 26, Raw Sienna No. 58, Imperial Purple No. 23, Madder Carmine No. 19 (any red okay), Magenta No. 22, Ivory Black No. 67

Registration cancellations & transfers must be made through Art Center East at (541) 624-2800 48 hours or more before the class start time. We cannot issue refunds or transfers for cancellations received after the 48-hour cutoff. Exceptions will be considered for medical or family emergencies. ACE will honor a refund, minus a $10 administration fee when the cancellation is made 48 hours or more before class start date. When a class is canceled due to low enrollment, we will issue a refund for all registration fees. ACE will contact you in the event of a cancellation. Face coverings will be required in accordance with statewide regulations current at the time.
