October 14, 2020 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Join Art Center East and the Northwest Blacksmith Association for a free online demonstration with Peter Clark of Northwest Skillet Company.
Have you ever dreamt of dabbling in blacksmithing? Peter will stream a live demonstration from his shop on the slopes of Mt. Emily, sharing his tips for the aspiring blacksmith to start forging metal. His talk will cover tooling up (anvils and anvil alternatives, hammers, tongs, and forges), considerations when putting together a blacksmithing shop, and the basics of working with hot metal. The demonstration will last from 1-2 hours.
