The Big is Art Center East’s annual open exhibit, a showcase of the talent hidden in our backyard. The Big invites artists from Eastern Oregon & the greater Northwest to share their work while creating awareness of the value of the arts in our community and raising funds for community arts programming at ACE. The 2020 Annual Open exhibit will run from December 4th, 2020 – January 30th, 2021.
The exhibit will be viewable in person during our business hours starting December 4, and online on this webpage, with an interactive virtual tour of the gallery provided by John J Howard Realty, and individual images of each piece that will allow you to take a closer look and purchase art that is for sale.
A few lucky artists (selected by our 2020 judge) have won a cash prize:

Frequently my work contains meticulously crafted imagery that seductively draws the viewer in with elements that can be, upon further inspection, simultaneously disturbing or repellent.
