Join us for a festive opening reception *online* this year! We’ll celebrate our annual open exhibit – The Big – with a reception performance recorded in the gallery. Host and musician, Ashley O’Toole, will perform in the ACE Main Gallery, giving viewers at home a sneak peek at the exhibit between songs. Though we’ll be celebrating apart, we can still come together to appreciate the talent in our back yard – and vote for the People’s Choice award – just like we do when we are together.

Exhibit award winners will be announced during the virtual reception! Watch that, and take a virtual tour of the gallery, here.

Make it dinner and a show – at home! If you are able, we encourage you to double down on this celebration of community by ordering takeout from a locally owned restaurant to enjoy while you watch the stream. These important small businesses are in need of some extra love right now – let’s show them that their community is behind them. Some of the options in La Grande include: Ten Depot Street, Side A Brewing, Mamacita’s, Wine Down, GC Fusion, Tap That, Yia Yia Nikki’s, Thai Fresh, Raul’s, JaxDog, Local Harvest, and Dining at The Landing. And: Oregon is still allowing beer and wine delivery, just in case that’s useful information.

Registration cancellations & transfers must be made through Art Center East at (541) 624-2800 48 hours or more before the class start time. We cannot issue refunds or transfers for cancellations received after the 48-hour cutoff. Exceptions will be considered for medical or family emergencies. ACE will honor a refund, minus a $10 administration fee when the cancellation is made 48 hours or more before class start date. When a class is canceled due to low enrollment, we will issue a refund for all registration fees. ACE will contact you in the event of a cancellation. Face coverings will be required in accordance with statewide regulations current at the time.
